Doing Our Part
We are continuously looking for ways to improve our social and environmental footprint. Our bathroom dispensers eliminate 13,140 plastic bottles every year. We have introduced recyclable glass milk bottles to reduce a further 26,280 plastic containers and recycling bins in the rooms for our guests to join us in helping keep NZ green.
Furthermore, our room condiments are supplied by Fair Trade, an organisation working to improve trade relationships so farmer's and their families can directly benefit.
As we improve and renovate the rooms, furniture is donated to the local hospice and bedding and blankets are gifted to the Auckland City shelter.
